Negotiators for the US and Iran have agreed a framework of a deal that would extend their ceasefire for 60 days and launch negotiations on the future of Iran's nuclear programme, US sources say.
The agreement comes amid continued strikes and accusations of ceasefire violations, with tensions still high across the region.
Talks are also said to include potential changes to shipping through the Strait of Hormuz, a key global energy route.
