The family of murdered student Henry Nowak have left Downing Street in the last few minutes following their meeting with the prime minister.

Lucy, Mark and Katie, Henry Nowak's mother, father and stepmother, met Sir Keir Starmer for just under an hour.

It was a private meeting, with no cameras allowed inside, and the family chose not to speak to journalists as they departed.
