The US and Iran have agreed a deal to end the war, which mediator Pakistan said will be signed on Friday in Switzerland.

US President Donald Trump said as part of the agreement, the Strait of Hormuz will be reopened. "Let the oil flow!" he wrote in a post on Truth Social, and prices have fallen since the announcement.

In Iran, the deputy foreign minister said on state TV that a deal has been reached while the country's top military command hailed it as a victory for Tehran.
