A man has been jailed for life for murdering an 18-year-old Southampton student.

The judge told Vickrum Digwa "you have brought shame upon your family, your community and your religion."

But there were serious questions for the police too, who believed they were responding to a racist attack and handcuffed the victim as he was dying.

Speaking outside the Court, Henry Nowak's father said, "the way he was treated was inhumane and degrading."
