US-Iran negotiations to begin: Washington and Tehran teams to meet in Switzerland

It's day one of the US and Iran's, sixty-day initial agreement. The Memorandum of Understanding to end the war, open the Strait of Hormuz and begin talks on halting Iran's nuclear program, is now in effect. US Central Command says it's lifted the naval blockade of Iranian ports, allowing free passage of vessels in and out. That's after US President Donald Trump and Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian signed the agreement separately on Wednesday.
