Pope Leo sat with the pilots of an Iberia flight from Madrid to Barcelona on the second leg of his Spain tour. The pontiff was invited by Captain Pablo Martinez Nunez aboard the Airbus A320, and waved at Spanish Air Force fighter-jet pilots escorting the plane before talking to them on the radio.
