President Donald Trump named Bill Pulte, a housing official who has played a large role in Trump's retribution campaign, as acting director of national intelligence. Trump made the announcement on Truth Social, saying Pulte has "deep experience managing the most sensitive matters in America." CNN Chief Law Enforcement and Intelligence Analyst John Miller says Pulte has no background in intelligence.
