In Beirut's southern suburbs, Hezbollah supporters say the war in Lebanon cannot be separated from the wider conflict involving Iran, Israel, and the United States. That position is at odds with efforts by Washington and the Lebanese government to keep the two tracks separate. But as Israeli attacks continue in southern Lebanon and strikes reach Beirut again, fears are growing that the fronts are becoming more closely linked.
