President Donald Trump insisted the US would not be “investing any money" in Iran, looking to ease fears among some of his allies that Tehran would receive American funds. He was speaking at a meeting with the emir of Qatar on the sidelines of the G7 summit in France. Officials have said instead that a $300 billion reconstruction fund for Iran would be funded by Gulf nations.
