Iran’s FM says foreign forces in Iran’s vicinity face ‘constant risk’

Iran’s FM Araghchi says the country’s army is on “constant alert” for any breach of territory and that foreign forces in Iran’s proximity should leave the area.

“Foreign forces in proximity to our territory are at constant risk on account of their own human errors, plain accidents, or potentially being caught in crossfire,” Araghchi said in a statement on X.

“To reduce risk, the best solution is for foreign forces to exit, as soon as possible, an environment which will never be hospitable to a hostile presence.”

Araghchi said Iran “prefers the language of diplomacy” but can “speak other languages too”.
