High-stakes talks between Israel and Lebanon have wrapped for the day and will continue tomorrow at the US State Department. The talks come after Iran-backed militant group Hezbollah and the Israeli military traded strikes overnight.

Trump told CNBC when asked about Iran’s claim it had suspended talks with the US because of what it regarded as Israeli ceasefire violations in Lebanon that the talks have become “very boring."
