UK defence secretary resigns: Healey quits over disagreement on military spending

The UK's security minister, Dan Jarvis, has been appointed as the country's new defence secretary. That comes after John Healey resigned from the role over military spending. One of his junior defence ministers also stepped down. Healey has accused the prime minister of failing to commit the resources needed to defend ​the country.
