Sculptures installed along one of Mexico City's main avenues were damaged during a protest led by teachers from the National Coordination of Education Workers (CNTE), who are demanding improved labor conditions and benefits. The incident comes as Mexico preps to host the 2026 FIFA World Cup alongside the US and Canada.
